MAHP responds to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services proposal to increase drug price transparency in Medicaid

LANSING, MI – Dominick Pallone, executive director of the Michigan Association of Health Plans, responds to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services prescription drug price transparency in Medicaid:
“The federal government took bold action to hold drug manufacturers accountable for their unsustainable and unsubstantiated prescription drug pricing. The Michigan Association of Health Plans applauds these actions and encourages Michigan policymakers to follow suit and pass HB 4409.”
