MAHP applauds Gov. Whitmer’s insulin budget proposal

LANSING, MI – Dominick Pallone, executive director of the Michigan Association of Health Plans, responds to Gov. Whitmer’s budget proposal to lower insulin pricing:

“MAHP supports Gov. Whitmer’s proposal to explore and invest in potential opportunities to advance manufacturing insulin here in Michigan. Increasing competition will ensure everyone who needs insulin has more access and affordable options. The Governor’s budget proposal to curtail the escalating costs of insulin is bold leadership that should be commended.”
