America's Health Insurance Plans is the major association for the nation's health insurers. AHIP has been deeply engaged in advocating on appropriate health care reforms, and will be watching closely as the federal law is implemented and shaped.

AHIP comments preventative services rules

AHIP submitted the attached letter to federal agencies, outlining our comments and recommendations on the interim final rules addressing coverage of preventive services. 

Request for Comments on Nondiscrimination Requirement

The U.S. Department of the Treasury and the IRS have requesting comments before Nov. 4, 2010 for additional guidance concerning the application of requirements for prohibiting discrimination in favor of highly compensated individuals in self-insured plans.
